Nitrocellulose Transfer Membrane, 30 cm × 3 m
The nitrocellulose transfer membrane (NC membrane) is used for protein transfer from gels to membranes during immunoblotting and can also be used for nucleic acid transfer in nucleic acid detection.
- Excellent binding capacity with very low background, but lower mechanical strength than PVDF membranes.
- 0.22 μm pore size is suitable for most immunoblotting applications, especially for proteins smaller than 20 kDa, effectively reducing leakage of small molecular weight proteins.
- 0.45 μm pore size is suitable for most immunoblotting applications, especially for proteins larger than 20 kDa.
- Suitable for chemiluminescence, chromogenic, fluorescent, and isotopic detection methods.
